The world-renowned Cape Winelands are situated about an hour’s drive from Cape Town. This tour travels through the premier wine-producing regions of Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. In addition to the wines, guests can expect breath-taking scenery. Each region is characterized by rugged mountain ranges and picturesque valleys with vineyards dotted along the route. Enjoy a cellar tour, and wine tastings at three top wine estates before embarking on a tour through the historic town of Stellenbosch where much of the original Cape-Dutch architecture has been preserved.

Cape Highlights / Full Day Experience the highlights and gain an appreciation for the natural beauty of the Cape Peninsula. Travel along the Atlantic seaboard via Hout Bay and the iconic Chapman’s Peak Drive. Visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve at the southern tip of the Cape Peninsula, a feature that has captivated travellers and explorers for centuries with its dramatic scenery and fascinating history. Visit the quaint villages of Kalk Bay and St James. Enjoy lunch (at your own expense) and taste award-winning wines at a vineyard nestled in the Constantia Valley or nearby. Continue on to the city centre, passing the Castle of Good Hope, visit the Company Gardens and Cape Malay Quarter, with the opportunity to taste traditional delicacies (at your own expense), before taking in the city views from Signal Hill.

Hermanus / Full Day Travel via Sir Lowry’s Pass to Hermanus and enjoy shore-based whale-watching (seasonally dependent). Visit a wine estate for a wine tasting, or visit the Stony Point Penguin Colony should the wine estate be closed. Return to Cape Town in the afternoon via the scenic False Bay coastal route.

Cape Point / Full Day Cape Town is built on a mountainous peninsula, and this full-day tour is an ideal way to see the city’s highlights. Travel along the Atlantic seaboard with its white beaches and rugged mountains to Hout Bay. Continue on Chapman’s Peak Drive, one of the world’s most scenic routes, and visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve at the tip of the Peninsula. On the return journey, travel along the False Bay coast with the option to see African Penguins at Boulders Beach (at your own expense), passing through Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, and Muizenberg. End the day with a stop at Rhodes Memorial before returning to your hotel.
