color matching for the main windows. Panning systems are applied to the exterior frame of replacement windows to repli- cate the look of original ornate wood framing typical on many historic buildings. The PNC Building located at 11 West Market Street in downtown Wilkes-Barre was built in 1909. The building has served over the years as the main office for several banks before becoming part of the PNC Financial Services Group. The 11-story building was the city's "first skyscraper" and of- fers outstanding views of the city, Susquehanna River, and

Market Street Bridge. Renamed Riverview West, the building is currently un- dergoing extensive renovation by local developer D&D Realty. The development plan calls for 60,000-ft2 on the upper floors to be converted into 40 upscale apartments and 13,000-ft2 on the bottom three floors to be used for office space. The rest of the construction team includes architect David Sheydwasser of Kingston, PA, general contrac- tor Deadline Construction (a D&D affiliate) of Scranton, PA, and project manager Advanced Builders, LLC of Pittstown, PA. The Crystal products are

being supplied through local window dealer/distributor Si- ciliano Construction Services of Scranton for installation by GC crews. Window & Door Systems is supplying 360 new energy efficient windows for the his- toric PNC Building restoration, also known as the River West development, in Wilkes-Barre. The window order has begun shipping to the jobsite and in- stallation should be completed over the next few months. "We are so pleased that mod- ern energy efficient Crystal windows will be part of this notable restoration project," said Steven Yu , Crystal's Mid-Atlantic regional sales manager. "Especially with our new factory in the area, the Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, North- east Pennsylvania region is increasingly important to us." Crystal Windows acquired the former Owens Corning/ Northrop Grumman facility on Franklin Valley Road in Benton Township, PA in late 2015. Limited production of windows began in 2016 and renovation and outfitting of the facility continues. The Crystal factory currently employs 60 workers, and this is expected to grow to 350 or more when the facility is fully operational. While the windows for the PNC Building are manufactured at Crystal’s main factory in New York City, the Pennsylvania facility currently fabricates 3 of the company’s 20 product lines. The PNC Bank restoration project calls for the use of 360 Crystal Series 2000A thermally broken aluminum frame dou- ble-hung windows. The most popular of Crystal's aluminum products, the Series 2000A is a 3-¼" jamb depth window and is AAMA rated as CW-PG50. The window features dual pane insulated glass units (IGUs), tilt-in sashes for easy clean- ing, anti-drift head clip locks, and a durable environmentally friendly AAMA 2604 powder coat bronze color paint finish. The window's energy efficiency is further enhanced for this project through the use of Vitro/ PPG high-performance Solar- ban 60 low-E glass and Argon gas filling for the IGUs. The historic appearance of the PNC Building façade is retained through the use of Crystal's full surround 3" x 3-½" aluminum panning. The historic panning system is extruded by Crystal's own Mis- souri-based aluminum extru- sion subsidiary, which assures a quality product and exact
