What does the assessment involve? The assessment reviews both your organisations payroll processes, and your payroll team. Module one - your processes ● Checks that appropriate controls are in place to reduce the potential for payroll errors ● All payroll processes are fit for purpose ● Suitable processes are in place for preparing for legislative and organisational changes ● Highlights areas for possible development and improvement ● Features multiple structured, in-depth questions and document checks on your payroll and associated processes. Module two - your people ● Checks on payroll staff recruitment and retention, jobs descriptions, inductions and keeping up to date ● Diagnosis of skills levels, learning and development needs ● Review of appraisals and objectives that link into the organisation’s overall mission and vision ● Measures whether learning and development undertaken has been effective to encourage lifelong learning.
