Near the 1200m had to be eased when awkwardly placed to the inside of Roma’s. CAUL 14/12/2023 Jumped away awkwardly. RE that the gelding travelled well in the early and middle stages of the event; however, did not respond to his riding when asked for an effort and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near foreleg (2/5) MRPK 02/12/2023 Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. M V 23/12/2023 Slow into stride. Passing the 1200m steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of Tasman Park. Near the 250m bumped CRAN 25/11/2023 Fractious in the barrier. Rider reported he received no specific instructions, however after beginning well and with the mare racing keenly it settled in the lead. Trainer was notified a warning has been placed on the mare’s record. CAUL 16/12/2023 Held up for clear running from the 400m until approaching the 200m BRAT 23/11/2023 Slow to begin.
