JASMIN BENIONI: Director 4, NZ May 2016 was a tough year for me - my mother passed away, my work contract was about to end, as was my marriage. I was in the midst of moving myself and my four children back home with my father when Senior Director 2 Esther Tevaga approached me about Melaleuca. With nothing to lose, I gave Melaleuca a go! Within a couple of weeks I realised that my life was about to change forever. Advancing to Director 4 inMay 2017, I received a cheque of $9,536! To have my 15 year old son run up to me, hug me and say “Well done mum, all your hard work is paying off, keep going!” was indescribable. The feeling of pride I had at accomplishing something great, and showing my kids what is possible with a bit of hard work is worth more to me than the actual cheque I received. I enter into the next couple of months with a renewed sense of strength – I will lose weight, I will create a life without being tied to a 9-5 job, and I will advance my business to Senior, Executive and National Director! Ambitious I know, but hey! If I’m going to aim for something, it might as well be big!
LIGIA & MARCEL SINGEORZAN: Directors 3, WA As a proud mother of two and president of their school’s parent’s association, I have always loved meeting and helping people in my community. So when Senior Director 5 Jackie Scott – my long-time friend – approached me about a way that I could earn money and help other mums too, I was very excited! Jacqui took my under her wing and together, we got to work. In the month of May, I advanced my business to Director 3 and received a cheque I never quite expected - $6,656! This kind of money has helped me realise that our dream of building our own home is well within reach. If I continue to work hard and help others, then I truly believe that I can change the course of my family’s lives. The way I see it is this; get up, dress up and never give up your dreams! Never ever let anyone tell you can't do it. We all can achieve our goals if we believe in ourselves!
