be able to look back on with huge pride. College captain Llewey Heale then presented the Nick Speight Memorial Shield to Old Boy co- captains Martyn Roe and Dean Gardiner. The usual drinks from the chilly bin were followed by a pleasant social time at the RSA. Thanks to Justine, Darrell, Sam Mark and Kieren Roe for their organisation of the 29th Old Boys match. The absence of both Hugh Lindo and Mike Percasky was noted. The following past 1st XI players appeared for a much-anticipated match against the Rankin Cup winning College 1st XI: (oldest to youngest) David Bain (1982–3), Humphrey Tapper (1989–91), Andrew Curtis (1996–8), Ian Curtis (2001–2), David Dingwall (2005–6), Sam Mark (2005–8) Chris Reddiford (2006–9), Harry Fairgray (2009–2012), Will Hurst, Callum Slaven and Kieren Roe (2010–13), Jonty Nattrass (2011– 13), Benji Andrews (2011–14), Martyn Roe (2013–15), Dean Gardiner (2015). Also attending, but no gear, Jono Bonifant (2000–02) and Mac Bolderston (2012–13).

New Location

The CCOBA office has moved! We are now alongside Careers and Development in the newly-restored Tower above the Memorial Dining Hall. We’re on the second floor – take the stairs or the lift depending on your mobility. Please come in and visit, we’d love to see you.

Mentoring Programme

programme for both current students and Old Boys. The initial concept involves building a list of Old Boys who would be willing to speak with small groups of senior boys. This may be over breakfast, coffee or on the phone, with arrangements managed by Chris.

If you would like to be part of this project, please let CCOBA Secretary Justine know, so your details can go on our list. We are aware your time is precious, and will make every effort to ensure these interactions are meaningful.
