equipped—producing results that will count for eternity in the lives of men and women throughout the world. Oh, that the thousands o f Chris tians all over the land, who overlook this valuable field o f service, or who are wasting their means on pleasure that cannot satisfy, would think of what this earlier picture represents in training and service and would next glance at the radiant group be low, to be graduated in June, 1937! The latter are today the volunteers for the mission field, the candidates ready for calls to churches. They represent Christian youth in readi ness for Christ-commissioned service. Every one o f them knows personally the saving power of Christ. Every one is trained f o r s o u l -winning. Every one has dedicated himself or herself to Christ for sendee that shall be “ full-time” in the truest sense. Biola, as is her duty, has given of herself unstintingly to the training of these young people. Every essen tial doctrine of the Word of God has been emphasized, with the cross and the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ ever regarded as essential. Every opportunity for consecration has been afforded them, and there has been placed at their command every tested method of telling very simply and earnestly the amazing story of the Lord Jesus, His atoning death and His glorious resurrection. We are today rejoicing in these gradu ates and are praying for them, but our responsibility to them is ended.

The requirements o f an incoming group to be housed, to be trained in the Word of God, and to be sent forth, demand our attention. Already enrollment for the Bum mer School of 1937 has begun, and our fall semester is in prospect. With much to do, and with very limited resources to draw upon, we cannot delay, but state the case as simply as possible, and ask your aid. On the basis o f the previous cal culation concerning the Class o f ’26, our present student body o f about 400 members requires the equivalent o f not less than 5,200 monthly Honor Roll contributors, men and women who will undertake to send at least $1.00 or more each month for a year or longer in accordance with our Honor Roll plan. Today our actual enrollment of Honor Roll supporters and members totals fewer than half this number, though of course many give more than the minimum of $1.00 monthly, and many others who give liberally do not follow a regular plan. Though the monthly amounts promised thus far are inadequate for our need, we re joice in the fellowship o f these Honor Roll members who have assured us of their steadfast, continual interest. Will you not join your prayers and gifts to theirs? Will you not help us carry forward this work o f God with joy and with the sense o f grati tude that Paul felt when he wrote the Philippian church, “ I thank my God upon all my remembrance of you” (Phil, 1:3, R. V. ) ? The Bible Institute of Los Angeles, Incorporated [ 558 S. Hope Street, Los Angeles, California. Gentlemen: The enclosed sum of _____dollars is j sent to you as my { □ monthly □ quarterly O semiannual contribution under I the Honor Roll plan, to defray the i cost of training students at Biola. It is my purpose to send a donation I of this amount regularly for a period of { -------months, as God may prosper me. ! Accordingly, please enroll me on the I Biola Honor Roll.

What a Few Members o f 92 6 Are Doing • One of the graduates of this class was President of the Bible clubs in his uni versity and is now. superintendent of the Sunday-school of the Church of the Open Door, Los Angeles, Calif. • A summer Bible conference has been organized by another graduate of this class with other associates, and in a period of four years, close to 6,000 dif ferent young people have spent a week each at the conference, where they have been addressed by many of the out standing evangelical leaders of America. • Still another, after continuing his prep aration in college and seminary, entered a pastorate on Long Island, where he sponsors an organization among young people of the surrounding district and makes his home a center of Christian fellowship for Biola graduates who sail from New York for foreign mission fields. A Christian radio program from the only radio station in the Imperial Val ley is conducted by a member of this class. , • Burdened for the spiritual need of Africa, a young woman of the class found herself unable to go in person to meet that need. After her graduation from Biola, she organized a special work among children in a community church. For a period of nearly nine years—during much of which time she was employed during the week in a welfare office—she continued to instruct and to pray for that initial group of boys and girls. She now has the joy of seeing several of them taking places of Christian leader ship.

A G ROU P O F MEMBERS O F THE C LA S S O F 1937 In contrast to the plan followed in 1926, the present curriculum at the Bible Institute of Los Angeles requires three years of training as the minimum for a diploma. In fact, some of the individuals pictured in this year's group are graduates from the special degree courses of four years' duration. CLA SS MOTTO: "Laborers together with G od " (I Cor. 3:9).
