HOW TO INSTALL COCKTAIL RAILING TREX SIGNATURE
NOTES: » Do not use Enhance deck board for Cocktail rail applications. » Trex Signature Cocktail Rail brackets (sold separately) are for use with either Trex Signature Cocktail or Trex Signature Traditional designs. For a 6' section, use 4 brackets and screws provided, for 8' section, use 5 brackets and screws provided. » Top Bracket Covers should be installed prior to the attachment of the deck board.

7. S ecure boards to top
rail using Trex Signature Cocktail Bracket (sold separately). Ensure that there is a bracket at each end of the railing section, then space brackets approximately every 24" and attach with 4 screws provided.
NOTE: Predrilling before attachment is recommended. 8. Attachment of Bottom Rail Bracket Covers, Skirts, and Caps See previous instructions.
1. Install Signature Posts per instructions provided.
2. Follow instruction steps 1-17 on pages 4-7 for post to post railing installation. NOTE: IF USING SWIVEL BRACKETS REFER TO LAST PAGES FOR PROPER MEASUREMENT TECHNIQUES. Attaching Deck Board to Top Rail

Important: ONLY for use with pressure treated 4x4 post (3.5" nominal square) and 4x4 composite or 4x4 aluminum post sleeve. Cutting post and post sleeve ONLY apply to the Cocktail style railing. 1. Install Pressure treated Posts, Post Sleeves,and Skirts to Use with Trex Signature Railing. NOTE: PLEASE REFER TO LOCAL BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO ATTACHING PRESSURE- TREATED POSTS.
3. Measure between posts and cut deck board to length.
4. Place deck board onto top rail.
5. On underside of deck board, mark outline of bracket cover location.
6. Remove deck board from rail. Using router bit, forstner bit, or something similar, rout out this area to allow deck board to fully seat onto top rail.
