Dear Brother Grand Polemarch Battles, It is my honor on behalf of the East Central Province of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. to endorse Brother John F. Burrell, for the petition of the Elder Watson Diggs Award. I personally had the opportunity to serve under Brother Burrell as a Province Membership Intake Chairman for seven (7) years and in that time developed a wonderful friendship with him. Brother Burrell not only served as an outstanding leader of that committee, but also was instrumental in establishing the process that we presently call MTA or the Membership Training Academy. Brother Burrell has been a staunch supporter of the East Central Province, including establishing himself as a Life Member of the Province, and has been a gracious supporter of me personally throughout my leadership experiences in Kappa, leading up to my present ascension to the office of Province Polemarch. It is indeed my personal honor and that of the East Central Province, to support his receipt of this prestigious award. For his extra meritorious contributions to the advancement of our Fraternity and for the endearing legacy that he has left with everyone within his reach, we are proud to support the petition of our good Brother John F. Burrell for the petition of the Elder Watson Diggs Award.
