A donation of LED lights to the Russell Public Library will help the township celebrate and mark special occasions. The lights, which have a colour-changing feature that can be managed with a mobile application, were intended to bring joy to the village during the holiday season, but would also be used to help promote awareness days and other events throughout the year. The Police Village of Russell provided $3500 for the light installation, while the Library Board also assisted with funding. —photo supplied
