» Relevant Postgraduate or equivalent qualification » Hold a NEBOSH qualification
» Educated to degree level in a built environment, property, construction or facilities management » Be member of professional body RICS, CIOB or IWFM » MRICS and/or CIOB qualification or equivalent at a strategic level or related experience
Experience
» Prior experience in a similar role, at a senior level » Prior experience of working in a multi-site environment » Track record of leading, motivating and consolidating teams » Able to build excellent relationships with a wide range of people
» Prior experience in the education sector » First-hand knowledge of the management of an educational estate (or equivalent) from a leadership and management perspective » Excellent knowledge of the building and construction sectors » The ability to develop and implement an integrated estates strategy » Significant knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and its practical application
and to take the lead in promoting the College » Planning, reporting and budget management
» Experience of developing strategic plans at a senior level, combined with a record of successfully implementing them » Able to network and build strong external relationships in order to raise the profile of the College » A clear empathy for, and an understanding of, the ethos of Malvern College and the wider family
