Consultants. The City has required a $30,000 upgrade the street lights on the easternmost sidewalk along Wildcat Way and southern side along E. 18 th Avenue. The City has estimated that water meter fees will be approximately $25,000. The parking lot construction cost estimate from Lydig Construction is $481,726; the design team originally estimated the cost to be $261,000. The design project team also spent more time than anticipated getting power, data and telecommuni- cations cabling to the site. This is currently a bare lot with little to no utilities underground. This project also saw an increase in the design fees after DA Hogan and their subcontractors spent a significant amount of time redesigning the throws venue and restroom/office building.

TOMLINSON STADIUM RENOVATION Tomlinson Stadium has not had a significant renovation since its construction in 1941. The proposed renovation will remove the track, provide regulation-size field space required for rugby, soccer, and football fields. The project upgrades include the installation of artificial turf, stadium lighting, new perimeter fencing, renovations to the restrooms, as well as new entry gates and ticketing space. The project creates “Wildcat Plaza” at the south end of the field, this will serve as the south entry point into the field for Wildcat student-athletes, space for relocating the existing scoreboard, flag poles, and a special donor-recognition area.
