The successful venture enabled Pirtek Birmingham to provide a wider service, making its work much more successful and paving the way for centres such as Tyne and Wear. The Birmingham centre’s franchisee, Andy Connell, decided to introduce the service having realised “it was a business they were missing out on” when he received a great deal of requests for hose cleaning and maintenance from customers.

The article praises Pirtek Birmingham’s work carrying out a complete hydraulic installation with European Metal Recycling (EMR), the UK’s leading recycling
company and underlines why EMR saw Pirtek Birmingham as the “best company for the task”, getting the word out about the centre’s THM success story. Along with the article in Hydraulics & Pneumatics, the centre has also placed an ad that runs in the magazine monthly. With the constant effort that has gone into both the marketing and executing of THM from Pirtek Birmingham, it is no surprise that other centres around the country are beginning to introduce the service. It will be exciting to see how far this venture can go.
