JOB DESCRIPTION DMT has its own in-house Property & Projects Team who oversee design, construction, M&E, FM and maintenance projects across the company’s assets. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, procurement and delivery of Capital and Minor Work projects across the DMT portfolio. This varied role is based at our head office in Mackintosh House, but will involve working with other teams in all eight of our Theatres.

• In conjunction with the Head of Property and Projects and other senior members of the team, develop, plan & implement medium to long-term strategic plans & policies across the business. • Managing Projects: to deliver projects, taking responsibility for managing all aspects of the works ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and to the agreed quality. • Act as Client Side project manager to manage all aspects of larger Capital Projects including appointment of external professional teams, feasibility studies, cost plans, procurement and delivery. • Minor Work projects: give direction, manage and oversee the delivery of minor works projects through your team. • Manage work orders that are generated or escalated through the CAFM system ensuring your team complete these in line with agreed priorities and expectations. • Supporting the Theatre Asset Manager to deliver any MEP contracts and/or construction-related works required. • Responsible for the development of a Forward Maintenance Register, which will include life cycle works, re-roofing, trends identified on CAFM and major external and internal redecorations programmes.
• Department finances: agree, set, manage and control budgets across projects to ensure value for money is achieved, and ensure there are transparent cost plans. • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and DMT’s internal policies and procedures.
