The Value of Caregiver Support Groups By Tonetta Clay, Family Caregiver Support Group Facilitator Caregiver support groups offer a safe space to connect with others who truly understand the challenges of caregiving. These groups reduce feelings of isolation by reminding caregivers they are not alone in their experiences. Sharing stories, frustrations, and successes can be both relieving and empowering. Support groups also provide practical tips, emotional encouragement, and new perspectives on handling difficult situations.
