UCDSB school appointments The Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) announced changes in the princi- pal and vice-principal postings for some of its schools. These appointments take effect September 1 of the 2017-2018 term. Sta- cey McCready, current principal at Plantagenet Public School will become the new principal of Cambridge Public School; Cambridge Public School Principal Susan Kelly will become prin- cipal of Maxville Public School; Nichola Bond, acting vice-principal at Pleasant Corners Public School is confirmed as the school’s full-time vice-principal; Julie Symonds will transfer as vice-principal at Glengarry District High School to vice-principal at Rockland Public School; Vice-principal Carol Ann Allen of Rockland Pub- lic School will become vice-principal at Tagwi Secondary School; Principal Angela Grandy of Vankleek Hill Collegiate will be principal at North Dundas District High School; Trevor Wheeler, principal at St. Lawrence Secondary School will become principal of Vankleek Hill Colle- giate; Vice-Principal Robert Bradley at VCI will become vice-principal at Smith Falls District Collegiate; Jana Kilger at the UCDSB Learning Partner project will be vice-principal at VCI; Vice-principal Louise Leblanc-Mazur at Viscount Alexander Public School will become principal at Chesterville Public School. – Gregg Chamberlain

UCDSB made the top 20 out of the 72 school boards that took part in the study by ranking 14 th on the list.
