Heart to Heart Meet Alpha Phi Foundation's 2026 Heart to Heart Grant recipients, whose work supports women's heart health in labs, classrooms and communities.

By Katie Glunt Gates (Beta Upsilon-Oregon State), Alpha Phi Foundation marketing and communications manager

For 33 years, Alpha Phi Foundation has invested in programs helping women live healthier lives through its annual Heart to Heart Grants. Created in 1993, the grants support both clinical research and community education focused on women’s heart health. This year’s recipients, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Prairie View A&M University, are making a difference through innovative research, outreach and education.

Made possible through the generosity of donors and volunteers, the Heart to Heart Grant program supports researchers and educators working to expand awareness, improve prevention and strengthen women’s heart health. Here’s a closer look at this year’s recipients and the impact of their work.
