The Foundation raises money at three events: • Evening of Impact Dinner & Auction • The Charity Golf Classic in the fall • An Artisan Shop Sale Organizations serving Pickens County apply each year. A review committee examines who they serve, what their work accomplishes and what they need. Each organization The Foundation supports is connected to a Reserve member advocate who volunteers there or is part of their board. The desire is to have someone with boots on the ground to keep everyone updated. HOW IT WORKS
Donations and event proceeds go out as grants. The only cost they carry is running the events themselves, so roughly ninety-five cents of every donated dollar reaches a charity.
