Curious about what it was about, she took her first storytelling class there 22 years ago. To date she has taken six more weekend or weeklong storytelling classes, and several times a year “tells” her own stories at their after-dinner programs.
Dick and Anne Newhouse both took a course at the Folk School. Dick tried his hand at wood turning, while Anne discovered memoir writing. “We had as much fun meeting the most interesting people there as we did in our course work,” Anne says. “The food was delicious and the discussions were lively.
