Celebrating Our Stars in Tudor Gardens
Under the twinkling lights of Tudor Gardens, nearly 400 members of the Gilmour community gathered on September 20 for A Night in the Garden: Celebrating Our Stars , an evening honoring the students and faculty who help Gilmour shine. Held in a tented setting behind Tudor House, the event brought together parents, alumni and friends for cocktails, dinner and lively entertainment from The Bluewater Kings Band. Guests also took part in spirited silent and live auctions featuring experiences such as travel, private dinners, concert tickets and exclusive sporting events. Trustees, past parents and supporters of Gilmour for more than four decades, Jim and Kathy Pender served as honorary chairs, with Stephanie and Bryan Panteck and Christina and Dave Peterson as co-chairs. Beloved faculty members Carmel Fantelli and John Malloy emceed the evening. With energetic bidding led by auctioneer Joe Girvan and the support of generous sponsors, the event raised funds that will directly support faculty and student programming at Gilmour. The evening was as memorable as it was meaningful — a joyful celebration of community, generosity and the shared commitment to helping Gilmour students flourish.
Save the date: After such a successful and spirited gathering, the event will now become an annual Gilmour tradition. Each year, it will be known as A Night in the Garden , and will be held under the tent in Tudor Gardens, with the next celebration held Saturday, October 10 and marking Gilmour's 80 th year. A NIGHT
