DISASTER RECOVERY | SPECIAL EDITION | VOLUME II

“If we can salvage parts of the property by properly drying and mitigating damage, we do,” says Clint. This not only reduces costs but also minimizes disruption for clients. One of the company’s most notable projects was the restoration of Houston’s KHOU building after Hurricane Harvey in 2017. The building, inundated with seven feet of water, required extensive work. “We gutted the first floor, cleaned up silt and debris, and restored critical infrastructure,” Clint recalls. The $7 million project exemplified Mr. Restore’s capacity to handle complex, large- scale challenges while maintaining attention to detail.

The company achieves this through innovative systems like Job Dox, a project management platform that streamlines communication between clients, insurance adjusters, and contractors. “When someone’s property is damaged, they want to know what’s happening at every step. Job Dox helps us keep everyone informed and ensures no detail slips through the cracks,” Clint explains.

A Focus on Real Restoration

Unlike some restoration companies that default to a “cut and gut” approach— removing everything and starting from scratch—Mr. Restore prides itself on thoughtful restoration practices.
