Schaeffer Environmen- tal Award from Printing Industries of America. The William D. Schaeffer Award is given annually to an indi- vidual who is advancing environ- mental awareness and action in the graphic communications industry. The award was presented April 28 at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania during the Spring Administrative Meetings of Printing Industries of America. Fuchs has been guiding the printing industry to- ward positive environmental change for more than 30 years. He is currently the Director of Technology and Regulatory Affairs for the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM).
