GOVORI / SPEAKING…
NEMANJA KRSTIĆ, KAPETAN / NEMANJA KRSTIĆ, CAPTAIN Gde biste najradije proveli prvi pravi jesenji mesec? Ovog meseca slavimo trinaesti rođendan Er Srbije. Šta biste poželeli svojoj kompaniji i kolegama?
Where would you most like to spend the first real month of autumn? Where are the colours of October at their most beautiful? “In my opinion, the most beautiful place to spend the first autumn month is Paris. It is really an ideal period to tour that city, becau- se the summer crowds have dispersed and autumnal colours give it a completely diffe- rent, more tranquil dimension. On the ot- her hand, considering the dynamics of our work, escaping the first cold days by visiting any warmer destination certainly wouldn’t be out of place.” We are this month celebrating Air Serbia’s 13 th birthday. What would be your wish for your company and colleagues? “I wish for our company to continue growing at this tempo, to achieve even gre- ater growth and for each subsequent ye-
ar to be more successful than the last. I wo- uld like to wish for my colleagues that which is most important in our work: always calm skies and many safe flights. I think it is extre- mely important to preserve that which is most beautiful from Serbian aviation’s ri- ch tradition and to successfully pass on that precious knowledge to future generations.” In the build-up to the centenary of flights in Serbia, in this issue we are reminiscing on the launch of aviation way back in 1927. Can you imagine yourself in a Potez 29? “If I were to find myself in a Potez 29, then I could only imagine it with myself as the pilot at the controls. For those of us who are today accustomed to modern systems, it would be a fantastic experience to return to the very roots of aviation, to feel those pure mechanics and to experience firsthand what it was like to fly an aeroplane from that era.”
