Evolucija beogradske linije horizonta kulminira na desnoj obali Save, kroz monumentalni proje- kat Beograd na vodi. Ova potpuna transformacija nekadašnje industrijske zone u elitni stambeno-poslov- ni kvart donela je gradu potpuno novu arhitektonsku dinamiku, čija je apsolutna kruna Kula Beograd. Visoka impresivnih 168 metara, ona predstavlja arhitektonski iskorak u staklu i čeliku, čiji rotirani dizajn omogućava da zgrada nema „zadnju stranu“. Apsolutni vrhunac nalazi se na vrhu zgrade, gde se nalazi no- va opservatorija opremljena najsavremenijim teleskopima i in- teraktivnim ekranima. Sa ovog vidikovca (Observation Deck) pruža se neprekinut panoramski pogled od 360 stepeni, oda- kle posetioci mogu jasno, iznad oblaka, da sagledaju sve pret- hodne istorijske divove ovog grada. Osim same opservatorije i luksuznog hotela „St. Regis“ koji se u njoj nalazi, okruženje Kule nudi potpuno drugačiji gradski ritam. Spuštanjem iz oblaka posetioci direktno izlaze na Sava Prome- nadu, najduže i najmodernije rečno šetalište u gradu, prepuno vrhunskih restorana i biciklističkih staza. Na samo nekoliko ko- raka od Kule nalazi se i „Galerija“, najveći šoping-centar u regio- nu, dok se, prateći obalu, lako može došetati do stare beograd- ske četvrti Savamala, gde se ovaj futuristički projekat savršeno oslanja na zaostavštinu arhitekture iz 19. veka.
The evolution of Belgrade’s skyline culminates on the right bank of the River Sava, via the monumental Belgrade Wa- terfront project. This total transformation of a former indus- trial zone into an elite residential neighbourhood and business district has brought a completely new architectural dynamic to the city, the crowning glory of which is the Belgrade Tower (Kula Bel- grade). Rising to an impressive 168 metres, it represents an archi- tectural advance in glass and steel, with a twisted design that en- sures the building has no “backside”. The highlight is undoubtedly the top of the building, where a new observation deck is equipped with state-of-the-art telescopes and interactive screens. This view- ing area provides uninterrupted panoramic views in all directions, allowing visitors to observe all the previous historical giants of this city clearly, above the clouds. Apart from the observation deck and the luxury St. Regis hotel lo- cated within the tower, the surroundings of the Tower offer a com- pletely different urban rhythm. Descending from the clouds, visitors reach the Sava Promenade, the city’s longest and most modern riverside promenade, with its top restaurants and cycle lanes. Just a stone’s throw away from the Tower is Galeria, the region’s largest shopping centre, and a light walk along the riverbank leads to the old Belgrade quarter of Savamala, where this futuristic project is coun- terbalanced perfectly by the legacy of 19 th century architecture.
