Such . a monument is more appropriate to perpetuate the r:temory of such a man than any that could have been designed by the most skillful artist, or constructed of the most beautiful or costly materials; and it is only by maintaining this institute and keeping it true to the purpose of its founder and chief benefactor that those who are now or may hereafter be charged with its management, can truly perform the almost divine task committed to their keeping . At all times they should be "men of good report, full of the Spirit and of wisdom," if they are to represent adequately the spirit and purpose of this man, who has fallen at the post of duty and left to others the full realization of his dreams of Christian conquest. Horton, who died February 27, 1932, survived Mr . Stewart by nine years . With his death, there passed from the scene the two great men of God used to esta8 lish Biola University .
