Their Site Manager was always approachable and provided regular updates. “Our Site Manager was fantastic and his service was exceptional. Whenever he was on site, he would take the time to give us updates in person. He also called us every fortnight to provide detailed progress updates. His professionalism and communication made the process much smoother and reassured us throughout the construction stage,” said Sehr.

LOVE COMING HOME For Sehr and Kashif, stepping into their new home was a moment they will remember forever. “I love having my own home that is the exact design I wanted and decorated to my tastes. I really enjoy coming into the house. It definitely has the wow factor,” said Sehr. When asked about her favourite part of the home, Sehr struggled to pick just one. “It’s like asking a parent to pick their favourite child! But if I had to choose, my absolute favourite part would be the kitchen and dining area. I love cooking, so the kitchen is my happy place and having a butler’s pantry makes it even more functional and organised. It’s the heart of our home, where we create delicious meals and beautiful memories,” said Sehr.

Sehr and Kashif chose the Sherwood 36, a two-storey home that offered everything they were looking for. The design includes four spacious bedrooms upstairs, including a master suite, along with a generous leisure area that creates space for quality family time. Downstairs, the open-plan kitchen, dining and family room flows seamlessly to the alfresco, making it ideal for everyday living and entertaining. Added features such as a butler’s pantry and home theatre further enhanced the space and functionality.

BUILDING WITH CONFIDENCE & SUPPORT

One of the biggest challenges Sehr and Kashif faced during pre-construction was the delay in obtaining approval from council. The application process for demolition and building approvals took significantly longer than anticipated due to a council staff member being on extended leave, which delayed their paperwork from being processed. Through it all, their Customer Service Consultant (CSC), played a key role in keeping them informed. “Our CSC was incredibly helpful throughout the pre-construction stage. She provided clear guidance, kept us updated on progress, anticipated potential delays and always had solutions to any challenges we faced. She was also highly responsive and clarified any concerns we had along the way,“ said Sehr. Once council approvals were in place, construction progressed smoothly and being right next door to the site gave Sehr and Kashif a unique perspective, allowing them to watch the progress daily.
