TOILETS As part of our continued programme of improvements to our building, we have nearly finished the refurbishment of the KS2 toilet block. Our KS1 building is still due a block replacement and the Education Funding Agency/Department for Education has agreed the plan, which has been passed onto the procurement stage. Sadly, these are not quick processes but at least the wheels are slowly moving forward. The toilet area is one thing that both children and parents has requested that we invest in, and we are pleased to say that the £30,000 has transformed the facilities at our school. Well done us! INSPIRED TO SEW We enjoyed our Inspire workshop because it was something nice to do with our parents. We enjoyed designing our First Aid bags because we had the choice of what type of bag we wanted to use. Our parents loved doing it with us because it was relaxing but some of the parents found it tricky. We would love to do more sewing at school. Thanks to all our grown ups for coming in and helping to make the session so good. Thanks to Evie and Ivy in 2H for the story. Join us for our Summer Fair on Friday 14th July from 3:30-5:30pm in the Junior School Playground. This will be a fun-filled event with a bouncy castle, face painting, penalty shoot out, Sponge the teacher, cake stall, ice cream, games, food, drinks, craft, music and more. If you would like to have a stall at the Fair or would like to show off your talents on our stage please contact Friends of Abbey on foabbey@outlook.com SUMMER FAIR
