THE

Friendship buddies. Helping each other

GOOD TO TALK We have always had SEAL (Social and emotional attitudes to learning) Buddies, but our children felt it was time for a change! The Abbey children looked to both a new name and a new job description. Welcome to our new ‘Friendship Buddies’ from Years one to six! Nominations for Friendship Buddies are made by the children, in class, and everyone has the opportunity to both nominate and vote for the candidate that they feel will fulfil this important role well. The first meetings have taken place and the children have put together their own job descriptions as the roles differ slightly from KS1 to KS2. Meetings for each group will be fortnightly and the next one is a training session on implementation of their new roles! Our new Friendship Buddies can be identified by their sparkly, new, blue and white badges which they are wearing with pride. Congratulations to all of our new Friendship Buddies MEET MRS SCATTERGOOD.
