ECO BUS AND FIRE ENGINES Children in KS1 enjoyed a visit from both the Eco-bus and Smethwick’s firemen. Maisie in Y2HP was very complimentary about both and especially enjoyed sorting the rubbish into recyclable and non-recyclable. Giving the day a very impressive 10/10, Maisie would recommend them coming back. The fire team delivered a number of workshops in both KS1 and KS2 to help our children be safe. Y6 RESIDENTIAL Year 6 enjoyed a great week of outdoor and adventurous activities during one of our three, annual residential experiences. Taking to mountains, gorges, fields and beaches saw 40 children and staff go off-piste to revel in the delights of North Wales. Offering a different view of team-building and collaborative learning, the personal growth of all involved was amazing to see. Our web-site shows just what a fantastic time was had. http:// www.abbeyfederation.co.uk/plas-gwynant-2016/ It wasn’t just the children who came back tired. Huge thanks to the staff for giving up the whole week from home and family.
