SOURCE THEME: Each year, SOURCE adheres to a set theme for special sessions and engagement activities at the event. The 2025 symposium, being the 30th anniversary of SOURCE, followed the theme of Empowerment. Empowerment is the process of becoming stronger and more confident or gaining power to do something. SOURCE encourages and promotes self-empowerment through scholastic achievement. SOURCE 2026’s theme is Transformation . Transformation is a thorough, dramatic, or complete change in the appearance or character of something or someone, often indicating that that thing or person is improved. The term transformation is used across all disciplines to indicate changes in variables but is also used to indicate personal growth. Personal transformation is often initiated through important life events that motivate you to develop and improve your personal, professional, and/or academic life. SOURCE stimulates personal and professional development through scholastic achievement. Faculty, staff, community, and peers support students through their transformations during their time here at CWU.
