The keynote speech at this year’s event was delivered by Robert B. Tucker, President of The Innovation Re- source, a California-based consulting firm devoted ex- clusively to assisting companies seeking to improve top and bottom-line performance through systematic innovation. Print Control Wizard At a press conference held during the event,Danielle Sauve,VP,Marketing for Esko, discussed the company’s Print Control Wizard and the fact that the technology has been shortlisted for the ‘Award for Innovation’ by judges at this year’s Label Industry Global Awards. Designed to improve the flexo implementation pro- cess and print quality via Crystal Screens,Print Control Wizard reportedly offers the sector a simplified, stan- dardized approach to screen and curve creation, out- putting a new Crystal Screening algorithm to address a wide range of potential print issues.
