Winter trail grooming schedule The South Nation Conservation Authority (SNC) plans to groom more than 30 kilometres of cross-country and snowshoeing trails within the South Nation River watershed region in partnership with several municipalities.The trail- grooming schedule is part of the SNC’s support of winter tourism and community recreation. Winter trail grooming is scheduled in the SNC’s Warwick Forest recreation area in Berwick, the J. Henry Tweed and W.E. Burton recreation areas in Russell Township, Nokomis Park in the Village of Limoges,Two Creeks Forest near Morrisburg, and the Robert Graham recreation area near Glen Stewart. Eliz- abeth submitted her three wishes to Make- A-Wish Canada more than two years ago, her first wish being to attend the Grammy’s. “Elizabeth is a big fan of Adam Levine and she likes every type of music, so no better place to see all of them than at the Grammy’s,” said Danielle Keeping, Eliza- beth’s mother. A few months ago, before Christmas, Elizabeth was invited to the Hot 89.9 radio station, where she was surprised with her wish come true. “We found out there was something wrong with her when she was five years old, but did not knowwhat it was,” explained Keeping. “Within a week the doctors sent her to the operating table.” PIEDS SENSIBLES! Le vœu d’une jeune fille de 12 ans de Clarence Creek s’est récemment réalisé. En effet, le dimanche 28 janvier, Elizabeth Sanscartier s’est rendue au Grammy Awards à New York. Grâce à Fais-Un-Vœu Canada Elizabeth, ses parents et son frère ont pu séjourner pendant six jours dans la Grosse Pomme. À l’âge de cinq ans, sa famille a découvert qu’Elizabeth avait un rétrécissement de l’aorte et qu’elle avait aussi un désordre génétique qui entoure ses reins, ses oreilles, sa fissure palatine et son cœur. Elle a rencontré plusieurs célébrités d’Hollywood au cours de cette visite. Ici on peut reconnaître Elizabeth avec le groupe The Chainsmokers. —photo fournie

Make-A-Wish Foundation sent Eliza- beth and her mother, father and 14-year- old brother, on a six-day trip to New York City. Along with six other “wish” children, Elizabeth visited the MTV station, went to a Demi Lovato concert, spent time withThe Chainsmokers and explored the city. “It was amazing,” said Elizabeth.
The family stayed in a hotel right across the street from Madison Square Garden, where the Grammy’s were being held, but the children got picked up in a limo and got dropped off right on the red carpet. Elizabeth got her hair and makeup done prior to the show, just as a celebrity would. “My favorite part was meeting all the ce- lebrities,” said Elizabeth. “I got selfies with Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, Reba, Pink, Lil Uzi and Nick Jonas.”
