&/#3&'r#3*&'4 LOWWATER ALERT The South Nation Conservation Authority (SNC) issued a Level One low water notice July 11 for the South Nation River watershed region, as part of its moni- toring of water levels in local streams during current drought conditions. Level One status means there is a chance of water supply problems in some areas if water conservation measures are not followed. Residents are asked to reduce their water use by 10 per cent, including observing municipal regulations for lawn-watering on alternate days. Les automobilistes ont commencé à circuler normalement depuis la semaine dernière à Grenville-sur-la-Rouge à l’intersection des routes 344 et 148, fermée pour des travaux. Ces derniers ont été entamés par le ministère des Transports le lundi 9 juillet. « C’est le changement d’un ponceau pour faire traverser l’eau qui justifie les travaux, c’est un tuyau de métal qui est désuet. Avant que ça ne s’affaisse, on a changé la conduite, on a mis une autre conduite dans le fossé. Après, c’est le pavage et on doit tracer des lignes », a expliqué un des techniciens rencontrés sur les lieux. -Frédéric Hountondji
