EskoWorld 2020 To Take Place In Dallas, Texas
Esko has announced that EskoWorld 2020, its annual premier technology-focused event, will take place in Dallas,Texas,April 28-30, 2020. Being held at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Conven- tion Center, the three-day event attracts more than 500 attendees and is designed to connect brands and their packaging and print supply chains to discover the lat- est techniques and solutions in packaging and label artwork management, prepress workflow automation and digitalization. “Under our theme of ‘Packaging Connected’, we will once again be hosting a wide range of exciting edu- cational workshops, hands-on learning opportunities, and countless cross-industry networking opportu- nities to enable our customers to connect and learn about the latest thinking in automation to boost opera- tional efficiency,”said Melissa Plemen, Esko Director of Marketing North America. “EskoWorld offers our del- egates insights to the latest best practice techniques in an open and friendly atmosphere and explores the future of packaging production workflow with over 70 presentations from Esko subject matter experts, as well as providing interactive debates and training op- portunities for attendees. “This year in particular,” she continued, “we will showcase the latest Esko CDI Crystal family of digi- tal imaging, screening and exposure technologies for flexo plates, our new Kongsberg digital finishing solu- tions, and numerous software solutions including the latest editions of Esko WebCenter,Automation Engine, Studio and ArtiosCAD. Bobst has opened a facility that enables converters and brand owners to carry out production tests and coating technology comparisons, certifying the results on site and calculating the costs related to each test from real production data. More than 120 participants from different segments of the worldwide coating in- dustry attended the event that marked the inauguration of BOBST coating excellence line and technology cen- ter.The facility, which includes a fully equipped labora- tory, is a newly-built extension of Bobst Italia’s Compe- tence Center, which also houses gravure printing and laminating machines, in San Giorgio Monferrato, Italy. Titled “ The ultimate coating experience ” the event spotlighted BOBST capabilities and commitment in this specialized sector of the converting industry, while also offering visitors an overview of the current market trends and future developments.
