Soccer: 5 Star Camp • AGES 5-13 Michael Wiggins and his staff look to build on fundamental technique and tactical application with age-appropriate activities in a fun, caring environment! Camp is led by 5 Star Soccer Camps coaches that bring over 20 years of soccer camp experience. The coaching staff is energetic and clearly understands the youth player. Unique to Little Sparks, we encourage parents to play too! Little Sparks takes children on an exciting journey using imaginative stories to explore the game, while our experienced coaches focus on their holistic development. Soccer: 5 Star Premier Day Camp • AGES 7-13 The Premier Day Camp provides the ultimate camp experience filled with exercises and activities designed for the competitive youth player led by a remarkable staff of energetic youth coaches. Participants train in the various aspects of the game, refining technical ability while developing tactical awareness. Utilizing an age appropriate curriculum, this fantastic week of soccer camp seeks to bring out the best in each player providing a fun and caring environment. MINI MAGIC: Children will develop their motor skills, physical literacy and an introduction to the soccer ball through fun and themed games related to their current world. LITTLE KICKERS: Camp will focus on physical literacy, developing a child’s motor skills incorporating soccer movement with and without the ball. Fun, themed games will be used to guarantee an exciting experience for our youngest players. EMERGING STARS AND SUPER STARS: Technical development will be a key feature of the curriculum. Introduction to small-sided games, progression from technique to skills will be a key component to the program. Introduction to defending and attacking as an individual and a team. Learning the game with the best age-appropriate activities to bring the best out of our emerging players. All campers will receive a soccer ball and camp shirt. The deadline to register or withdraw from camp and receive a refund is June 5. Emphasis is placed on individual skill development and basic moves with the goal of developing confidence on the ball. Beginning “move sets” are taught and games are played to practice the moves in a method that starts with no pressure and slowly adds the pressure of time and/or space restrictions.
