Fort Hill Activity Center PREMIER FITNESS CLASSES If you are an active fitness member or unlimited group exercise member at Fort Hill, you may qualify for a discount on these classes. Premier: TRX • AGES 15 AND UP Build posture, strength, flexibility, balance and mobility with the method of leveraging body weight. Every exercise is powered by the abdominals. Form technique is monitored and modifications provided by certified TRX trainers to enable you to be safely challenged. YOUTH Meditation for Youth • AGES 6-12

This program is much more than just a basic class on calming the body and mind. Participants will learn the tools needed for managing a multitude of concerns including stress, anxiety, emotions, family togetherness, and more. As they progress from youth and adolescence, participants will benefit from understanding the importance of mindfulness and coping skills. Jitendra Desai employs the right method for teaching and helping students tap into the proper ways of handling difficult situations that arise. This class is designed for 6-12 years of age. Meditation for Teens • AGES 12-17 Meditation is recognized for its benefits of helping people let go and move forward successfully through their life. Teens are perpetually distracted by social media and expectations of instant gratification, and the stresses can be overwhelming. This meditation program especially tailored for teens, will encourage open-hearted awareness in everyday activities. Our Meditation class is structured to target several areas of life, and each week our Meditation instructor, Jitendra Desai, will present a new topic. Jitendra will guide participants through various meditations to help promote healing and alleviate daily stress. Fort Hill Fitness members may receive a discount, which is available only by registering at Fort Hill’s main service desk.
