Everyday Etiquette • AGES 7-10 Develop your self-esteem and boost your self-confidence! Instructor Patricia Ray covers a wide variety of tips for success including classroom etiquette, sportsmanship, how to develop good social skills, how to show respect when speaking to adults, bullying, getting along with others and how to make a favorable first impression. Table and restaurant manners in addition to writing a proper thank you note also are discussed. Program concludes with a dinner at an area restaurant where you can practice your newly acquired dining skills. Fee includes the dinner cost. Beginners learn basic chords, scales, strumming patterns and basic music theory to get them playing quickly. Emphasis is on learning chord sequences so you can play a few pop songs by the end of the week. More experienced players strengthen their skills by learning scales, finger and practice exercises, chords, inversions and arpeggios. There is some intense jamming daily! Patient, experienced instructors group kids by age and prior experience at the first class. Come in your PJs and enjoy a pampered night at the spa. Our staff leads the event by teaching techniques and processes for manicures and pedicures with a toe and nail polish application. Each person receives a foot/nail brush, cuticle stick and mini buffer to use and take home. Choose from fun summer colors and nail stickers in cool summer choices. A charm anklet will be made from a great bead selection. Our class ends with some music and high-energy dancing as a fun finale. A spa goodie treat goes home with every participant.
