The first of two buildings have been completed at Cornerstone at Branchburg, a premium age (55+) and income-restricted apartment community, which recently welcomed its first residents. Designed to be LEED and ENERGY STAR certified, the development will offer 150 housing units when completed. The two-story buildings are comprised of one and two-bedroom floor plans that include a long list of features such as washers and dryers, fully equipped kitchens and window blinds in every room. Seniors enjoy places to gather, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, computer workstations, pool tables, and outdoor areas with gas grills.
The new 44,000 SF UPMC Heart & Vascular Institute was completely demo’d and renovated in 5 months. Our team worked 7 days a week and off-hours due to not disturb adjacent occupied healthcare spaces. Material lead times were the driver for the schedule as our team worked to phase the project to keep all trades working at the same time. The outpatient center is the largest facility under the UPMC system and features cardiac rehab space, advanced cardiac imaging technology, and a heart failure center.
