Alleyn Club Yearbook 2017

In December 2016 we said goodbye to Simon Northcote-Green, who left us after 27 years of service. Simon started teaching in 1979 in Kenya, before moving to Marlborough College. He then spent a year or so in the USA before being appointed to join the English department in September 1989. During his time he has held the positions of Master in Charge of Hockey and Cricket; Housemaster of both Raleigh and of Blew House; and, from 2000, Deputy Master Pastoral. SIMON - 27 YEARS!!

Howhas theCollege changed? I feel that the pastoral care has improved and that the Governors are certainly more involved with the College. When I arrived at Dulwich there were around four female teachers, and during my time here I have seen a rapid rise to the now 50 plus which is a brilliant growth. The boys are more courteous, homophobia is on the retreat and staff/pupil relations are much better. Senior management is far less remote.
