The study contains four chapters, the first of which deals with a general diagnosis of Al Jazeera, covering its establishment, sources of funding, editorial and administrative structures. The second chapter investigates the channel’s logistical and human preparations to report the war, including the number of correspondents and the way they were deployed in various Iraqi regions. The third chapter focused on the analytical study, presenting a content analysis of the news coverage. In this part, the researcher examined the channel’s use of different journalistic genres, including the usage of images and the live reporting of events from the field. The fourth and final chapter included a detailed study of the topics covered by the channel during the war and the number of interviews conducted, whether on the ground or in the news bulletins and programmes.
