In some of its cultural programmes, the channel retraces the footsteps of Arab migrant talents by recording their cultural and scientific achievements, due to the importance of documenting the present moment with sound and picture for future uses. To understand this process and appreciate its importance, the study analyzes the content of the following programmes boadcst on Al Jazeera satellite channel: “Prison Literature”, “Appointment in Diaspora”, “Arabs of Latin America” and “Private Visit”. The study employed a descriptive analytical methodology and used a questionnaire and survey to collect data, along with content analysis to analyze it. The researcher chose Al Jazeera channel as a case study for a number of reasons. First, its daring coverage of cultural issues, which have been absent or, at best, censored on traditional Arab television. Second, for its unprecedented success in capturing the attention, and influencing large segments of Arab public opinion. Third, for the effective role it has been playing as one of the major actors in global media.
