It focuses on Al Jazeera satellite channel and the impact of its news coverage on raising the public awareness towards the Arab-Israeli conflict. The study employs a descriptive approach and investigates the impact of Al Jazeera’s newscasts on a selected sample of respondents represented by secondary school teachers in the Algerian city of Djelfa. The aim of this investigation is to know if there is a significant statistical correlation between the exposure of the research sample to the channel’s newscasts and their awareness of the Arab-Israeli conflict. To test the study hypotheses, the researcher used qualitative and quantitative analyses. The findings showed that there is no significant difference in the level of political awareness of the Arab-Israeli conflict in terms of gender. The study also concluded that there is no significant difference among teachers of the same level of deferent subjects. Regarding the two variants together (gender and subject), the findings showed that the correlation was significant across the whole sample including male and female teachers of arts and humanities.
