It aims to know the extent of Arab citizens’ trust of Al-Hurra and Al Jazeera websites. The research sample consists of respondents from the age group between 15-40 years old. The findings showed that the sample deals with the media effectively and most of its members prefer the Internet as a source of news. The results indicated that a high percentage of the sample follows Al Jazeera.net and believe that it is objective and credible. It also found that a high percentage of respondents agree that opinion polls on Al Jazeera website are conducted in a correct way. The results also indicated that a small percentage of the sample agrees that the results of opinion polls on Al Hurra.net are objective and accurate, and that its topics are influential. The study also found that Al Jazeera.net has greater credibility than Al-Hurra.net, because Al Jazeera is concerned with Arab affairs, and is largely neutral, while Al-Hurra’s policy is concerned with promoting the US views and diplomacy.
