The third chapter introduces CNN and Al Jazeera and gives detailed information on these two television channels from a comparative perspective. This chapter also expands on the two channels’ approaches to international news and events. The fourth chapter delves into the history of the Israeli- Palestinian conflict and discusses the news coverage of CNN and Al Jazeera channels, focusing on the war on Gaza in 2014, using critical discourse analysis (CDA) methodology. The fifth and last chapter presents the research findings, including the differences and similarities between the two channels in covering the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The study concludes with recommendations for future research.
