The study not only analyzed the way Al Jazeera handled the issue, but went beyond that to determine the ability of Al Jazeera to internationalize it. How did the channel contribute to the internationalization of the issue politically? What characterized the role played by Al Jazeera in this particular coverage? What is the importance of this role in relation to the developments of this case during two months of continuous coverage? These are the main questions this study aims to answer. The study employed the content analysis methodology, using the questionnaire tool to analyze a sample of Al Jazeera’s political programs. The findings showed that Al Jazeera’s media coverage made an effective contribution to keeping the case of journalist Jamal Khashoggi alive for the period in which the coverage continued. The channel contributed to its internationalization by publicizing it on a large scale and giving it an international dimension through the way it handled it.
