The analysis aims to identify the differences and similarities in the coverage of these two channels and the degree of professionalism used to cover this crisis. The study focuses on A Jazeera’s “Behind the News” program and Sky News Arabia’s “Newsroom” program. The degree of professionalism shows the channel’s commitment to the values of neutrality, impartiality, objectivity and balance. It also highlights the most prominent frames used in the coverage of the Qatari Gulf crisis. The findings showed that the Gulf crisis occupied an important space in both Al Jazeera and Sky News Arabia’s coverage. With regard to the framing analysis, the legal frame ranked first on both channels, followed by the political frame. As for the general trend of accuracy, the two channels were neutral in the first place in dealing with the Gulf crisis, while came in second place the opposition trend on Al Jazeera and the pro-crisis trend on Sky News Arabia.
