Title: The Credibility of Arab Media Mottos in Building the News Image: Al Jazeera Channel’s Motto ‘the Opinion and

the Other Opinion’ as an Example Publisher: Noor Publishing, Mauritius Year: 2017 Language: Arabic

Description: This book brings back into debate the interaction between the ‘image’ and the ‘motto’ in media, focusing on Al Jazeera satellite channel. The island’s emblem is no different from its name in terms of the degree of condensation. Just as the name refers to conflicting connotations, the channel’s motto or logo includes multiple symbols and encrypted messages hidden behind that icon. On the one hand, the logo of the channel corresponds to the image of the island in its natural and geographical sense, and on the other hand, it identifies with the shape of the drop. This book tries to understand the connotations carried by the logo and the relationship of those connotations to the news image and the news content of the channel.
