MAP Structure Overview We recognize that the recent growth of third-party sellers on Amazon has led to challenges for our partners. To address this, and to enhance competitiveness with competing brands, protect the brand’s image, and ensure a healthy dealer network, we have segmented our A4 portfolio into Dealer Preferred and Online Preferred models. We are also updating our MAP structure and pricing and will be monitoring online advertised pricing more closely to help support a fair and consistent marketplace for everyone.
Dealer Preferred models MAP will be LDC (Low Dealer Cost)
Online Preferred models will have a MAP of LDC less 30%.
Previously, all A4 models had a MAP of LDC less 20%.
Kyocera will no longer sell Dealer Preferred models online, and will only sell Online Preferred models on ecommerce platforms, like Amazon. Please note that the only exception to this is that Kyocera may have existing inventory of Dealer Preferred models which it will sell online until that inventory is depleted.
