This summer, nearly 20,000 boxes of fresh food comprising meat, dairy and vegetables were distributed during the Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana's Drive-Thru Food Distribution. The event was held every Monday from 3 - 5:30 p.m. on the downtown campus. This is the second year Ivy Tech has partnered with Gleaners for this event.

On September 21, Ivy Tech Indianapolis celebrated a successful first year of its Office for Career Coaching and Employer Connections during a statewide launch. The campus served as a pilot, aiding in best practices and efforts as the College prepared to launch in all service areas over the last year. The program brought together career development and employer outreach to meet the needs of the workforce. Downtown campus hosts successful College 101 event for high school students and families
On Thursday, November 4, Ivy Tech Indianapolis hosted its annual College 101 event at the Illinois Fall Creek Center. More than 60 students and family members attended to learn about all things college, as well as what Ivy Tech has to offer.
The event had excellent representation from Schools, departments and a variety of other areas.
College 101 was the perfect opportunity for students and their families to take part in interactive activities and one-on-one opportunities at the Program and Services Fair, participate in admissions information sessions and learn about dual credit opportunities.
