F A M IL Y BUSINESS continued strong program for the men as for the women? Coupled with a program of out­ reach there should be instruction on how to set up a Christian home. Families are usually not so indiffer­ ent as they are ignorant as to how to start one. A course in Christian home life can be a step in the right direction. One church, seeing the need of an­ swering family problems, inaugu­ rated such a training class. Such topics as family government, wor­ ship, recreation and finances were discussed. A Christian Certified Public Accountant discussed the relationship of Christ to their finan­ cial life. This man actually went through setting up a budget and relating it to the Lord and scrip­ tural principles. The response was revolutionary. Parents began to see that Christian truth permeated every area of their lives. On another occasion a course de­ signed particularly for parents of teen-agers was offered. A Christian doctor, a Christian psychologist, a vocational expert along with suc­ cessful parents and Christian lead­ ers talked frankly with parents about problems of sex, dating, prep­ aration for marriage, teen-age char­ acteristics and other helpful sub­ jects. Believing that Christian parent­ hood is best taught before young people marry, some churches have begun regular classes for teen-agers, giving them the biblical interpre­ tation of sex and marriage. The high ideals of Christian marriage are stressed. Such a program should not be entered into without the backing of both the church and
